LimbPower work with a number of partners within the sports sector, charity sector and medical sector to deliver our events, workshops and resources. Each of these partners offer LimbPower invaluable support enabling us to engage amputees and individuals with limb impairments in physical activity, sport and the arts.

British Blind Sport

British Blind Sport aim to ensure that sport and leisure facilities are accessible to every blind or partially sighted person in the UK, with the intention of improving their physical health and self-esteem.
Adults and children are encouraged to participate at whatever level they choose be it grassroots or up to international competitive level.
Blind and partially sighted people who enter competitions nationally and internationally need a sight classification. British Blind Sport provide this service to enable competitive participation on a fair and equal basis.

Blatchford Group

Blatchford is a world leading rehabilitation provider with clinical expertise in prosthetics, orthotics, special seating and wheelchairs. They provide clinical services to the NHS & Military in the UK and to private patients both in the UK and internationally. Blatchford partner with LimbPower on a number of initiatives including the LimbPower Games, The Introduction to Sport Workshops and the Sports Advisory Panel.

Douglas Bader Foundation

The Douglas Bader Foundation is a charity founded by the family of RAF hero, Sir Douglas Bader to help people affected by limb loss and other disabilities. The Douglas Bader Foundation have worked with and supported LimbPower from the beginning, supporting both the Primary and the Junior Games, they also organisae activities for children with disabilities.

Dwarf Sport Association

The mission of the DSAuk is to make regular sporting opportunity accessible and enjoyable to anyone and everyone with dwarfism in the United Kingdom, regardless of their race, colour, ethnic origin, gender, location, sporting ability or financial support.

Sport England

Sport England is committed to helping people and communities across the country create sporting habits for life. In October 2014, Sport England allocated new funding totalling £2.1 million to the National Disability Sports Organisation, of which there are seven including LimbPower. LimbPower will receive £210,000 allocated over three years to help increase the number of disabled people playing sport.
