Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month (LLLDAM) 2025: Empowerment, Community & Storytelling

1st April - 30th April

Originally introduced to the UK in 2017 by Kiera Roche, Chief Executive of LimbPower, LLLDAM has grown into a powerful movement of solidarity and support across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. What started as a passionate effort to bring visibility to the community has now become an annual event uniting individuals, charities, healthcare professionals, and businesses in a collective mission to share stories, raise awareness, and empower one another.

2025 Theme: Empowerment, Community & Storytelling

This year’s campaign focuses on the real voices of amputees and individuals with limb difference. From personal journeys of resilience to the stories of families, healthcare providers, and allies, the goal is to create a platform where experiences are heard, valued, and celebrated.

“By sharing our stories, we inspire, educate, and support one another. This campaign is about more than just raising awareness—it’s about creating a stronger, more inclusive community,” said Kiera Roche.
