Advisor –South West Area.

The English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) is dedicated to getting more disabled people more active for life. We work with a number of key partners looking at innovative ways to improve and increase the opportunities available to disabled people to enjoy sport and active recreation.

Engagement Advisors support key strategic partners, including County Sports Partnerships (CSPs), National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGBs) and leisure providers to become more effective in their role of enabling more disabled people to be active in sport and active recreation.

You will have good knowledge of the sport and active recreation sector and how it operates and be able to advocate improvements which enable more disabled people to get active. You will also have a knowledge of the non-sport sectors including disabled peoples organisations and how to establish effective relationships to build partnerships in connecting these sectors together.

Salary £28,379-£34,686

The successful candidate will be based in the South West Region and will have the option for remote/home working.

This post is open to those considering either a secondment or permanent position within EFDS.
