Royal Yachting Association (RYA)

Introduction

Through RYA Sailability over 53,000 young people and adults with disabilities are introduced to sailing per year, and many go on to sail on a regular basis.

Sailing is one of the very few sports in which able-bodied sailors and disabled sailors can participate on equal terms. Our national network of groups provides opportunities for people whether a new amputee, limb impaired or just wanting to find out about what Sailability has to offer to get on the water with in a friendly, relaxed and supportive environment.
