What Can I Do?

Volunteering

LimbPower need volunteers to enable us to deliver opportunities for amputees and individuals with limb impairments to engage in physical activity, sport and the arts. We are always looking for volunteers from across the country, both disabled and non-disabled individuals to help us improve engagement opportunities locally as well as helping at our participation events.

Our volunteer roles vary, so we focus our efforts on placing the right volunteer in the right role to suit your skills and interests, and the time you have available. Which ever role you choose you will be making a huge difference to the lives of individuals living with limb loss and their families. Some roles will require specialist skills or qualifications such as coaching, photography or medical officer roles, while other roles may require on the job training such as mentors and regional representatives. LimbPower are developing a programme to support our volunteers.

What can you do?

Below are some of the different volunteering opportunities you can get involved in:

Office Admin, Events support, Mentoring, Regional Representatives, Sports Coach, Advisory Panel, Ambassadors, and Fundraising.

Our recruitment process is transparent and fair. LimbPower ask all volunteers to complete an application form which will help us to choose the right role for you. Certain roles have administrative costs and will therefor have a limited number of volunteers such as mentors and coaches.

We ask all volunteers to sign up to a code of conduct and a volunteer agreement outlining what LimbPower will offer you and what LimbPower expect from you.
