LimbPower exist to engage amputees and individuals with limb impairments in regular and sustained participation in physical activity, sport and art to improve their quality of life and to aid physical, social and psychological rehabilitation. This requires a number of different approaches and interventions. Our resources section is designed to give individuals the information they need to empower them to take control of their own health.

LimbPower are creating a series of educational toolkits to support amputees and individuals with limb impairments at they engage in physical activity and sport. These 3 toolkits will also have a section for healthcare professionals and sports coaches.
To support amputees and individual's with limb impairments as they engage in physical activity LimbPower need to understand what motivates them to take part and what barriers they face. Research is central to understanding our community and what services we should be offering to support them as they engage in activity.
