LimbPower launched the Junior Games in 2013 to offer children and adolescents an opportunity to engage in physical activity and sports in a safe and friendly environment. This event is a stepping stone to further activity and local participation. At the event your child will get to try a number of sports delivered by coaches who work for National Governing Bodies of Sport or clubs and who have experience of working with disabled people. They can give you and your child information on how to get involved in the sports on offer.
The Junior Gams takes place on 1st October 2016 at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.
The event is open to 5-18 year olds.
LimbPower run two types of events; our participation events designed to engage amputees and individuals with physical impairments in physical activity and sport in a safe, encouraging and friendly environment and our fund-raising events, which we rely on to raise the funds to run our participation events, create our tool kits and run our services.
