AmpuTEA FeBREWary

For the month of February

LimbPower are asking everyone affected by limb loss or limb impairment to host a tea party in the month of February to raise donations to support the work of the charity. We’d like everyone to get involved – amputees, people with limb impairments, healthcare professionals, families and friends - by hosting your own tea morning or afternoon tea.

Organising a tea party for a small group of friends or colleagues, school mums or club members is a great way to raise donations, while socialising and having some fun. You can also show off your baking skills! LimbPower are a small charity and raising much needed funds is hard work. Every penny you raise whether it be £5 or £50 will help us to empower amputees, individuals with limb impairments and their families to live a fuller, healthier and happier life.

What can I do?

Hosting a tea morning or afternoon tea is easy. All you have to do is invite a few friends around for a cuppa and a slice of cake and ask them to make a donation to LimbPower. If you want, you can get your friends involved and ask them to bake cakes and make it a slightly bigger affair. There are lots of different ways you can make your tea party unique. Some people invite local businesses to sell products such as Stella and Dot while others theme their party, such as an Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

Please call or email Carly Bauert to request your personal invitations and posters to share with your guests.
